Cap, Gown, and Tassel

Students: purchase your cap, gown and tassel now from the campus bookstore. The cost is $28.50 plus sales tax.

Attendance Estimates

We anticipate over 1,200 students will be eligible to participate in the ceremony. Guest attendance is estimated at over 2,000.

Merchandise

College rings and related emblematic merchandise will be available in the Bookstore.

Bookstore

The Bookstore will be open on Commencement Day for the convenience of students and guests.

Electronic Devices

Electronic devices are required to be turned off or placed on silent.

Flowers Available

Flowers are available for purchase by the Grossmont College Foundation at the ceremony.

Accommodations

Cart-transportation and special seating accommodations will be provided for graduating students and guests with disabilities on the day of the graduation ceremony. It is recommended to park in lots #2 or #5, or in the staff parking lot by the campus bus stop. Contact Disabled Student Services in advance at (619) 644-7112.
