The Last Day to Apply for Spring 2013 Degree/Certificate is
March 22!!!
Dear Grossmont College Student:
If you are planning on participating in the 52nd Annual Grossmont College Commencement Ceremony on
Wednesday, June 5, 2013 you must present a valid Grossmont College Student I.D. or a California
State I.D. at the time of check in.
Students without a valid Grossmont College Student I.D. or California State I.D.
WILL NOT BE ABLE TO PARTICIPATE in the Graduation Ceremony.
Student Identification Cards and replacement cards are free and available as part of the
registration process in the Admissions and Records office located in Building 10.
Check in time for Commencement will begin at 3:30PM (Lower
Level Gym 42-001). The Ceremony begins promptly at 5:30PM.
Please be sure to bring your valid Grossmont College Student I.D. or California State I.D. to ensure a memorable experience.

GRADUATION ROBING

You may begin purchasing your Graduation Products at the Bookstore starting
May 1, 2013. It is highly recommended that you purchase your cap, gown, and tassel by Friday, May 31, 2013, 2:00pm.

Bookstore hours: Monday thru Thursday, 7:30am - 7:00pm and Friday, 7:30am - 2:00pm.

Students that meet honors requirements are identified on the Cap and Gown list at the Bookstore.

Participants check in and robe
(Lower Level Gym 42-001) promptly at 3:30pm.
Students wishing to participate in Commencement
must provide a valid Photo I.D.
(CA Driver's License or Student I.D.) NO EXCEPTIONS.

Photo I.D. will be checked at the door.

Students will be issued an armband bracelet upon checking in with a valid Photo I.D.
-
Students without
a campus issued bracelet will not
be allowed to participate in the Commencement
Ceremony.

Please wear dark shoes and dress
comfortably since it may be warm.

Note: Personal
items should be left with family or friends since
there is no secured area.
STUDENTS/GUESTS

College rings and related
emblematic merchandise will be available in the
Bookstore.

The Bookstore will be open on
Commencement Day.

Please turn off or silence all
cell phones.

Flowers will be available for
purchase from the Grossmont College Athletics
Department at the ceremony.

Parking will be available in
Student Parking Lots 1, 5, & 7

Disabled parking will be available in lots
1, 5, and the staff lot closest to the Bus Stop.

Please plan to arrive early for
parking and seating.

*NO SMOKING ALLOWED* Grossmont College is a
non-smoking campus.
Smoking and/or other tobacco use is prohibited. (GCCCD Board Policy

*Service Animals and Other Animals on
District Property* The District will allow an individual with a
disability to use a service dog or miniature horse in District
facilities and on District campuses in compliance with state and
