The Chemistry Learning Center
The
Chemistry Learning Center is located on the second floor of
building 30, the new Science building, in room 252. In the
CLC students have access to instructors and tutors for additional
chemistry help. During the regular Fall and
Spring semesters the room is open from 7:30am to 10:00pm
Monday through Thursday, 7:30am-3:00pm
on Friday, The CLC is closed on the weekends.
Hours
vary during the Summer semester. Please see the schedule posted for available hours.
There are a variety
of resources available in the CLC. In addition to the suite of
software used in the regular curriculum there are also software
packages for mathematics review, chemistry review, and graphing/data
analysis tools.
For additional
practice students can enroll in the
Chemistry Tutorial. This is a one unit, self-paced course that
provides additional practice for Chemistry 115, 116, 141, and 142.
It is graded on a credit/no credit basis, and is highly recommended
for students enrolled in those courses mentioned above.
For those students
who desire an on-line forum to discuss course questions, there are
the Chemistry Discussion Groups. This is a
bulletin board of sorts where students and instructors can keep in
