Can I Get Assistance To Help Me In
Chemistry After I Have Enrolled?
Of course we'll help you. There are many programs
and options to provide additional assistance for you.

The chemistry instructors hold drop-in open
office hours in Room 313 from Monday through Saturday for
any chemistry student. Check the schedule posted outside the
room for exact times.

There are
computer tutorial classes for each chemistry lab class
(e.g., Chem 120T, Chem 141T) to provide supplemental instruction
and practice as well as instructors to assist you.

Each chemistry lab course has inherent computer
components for directed study such as lab calculation checking
and accuracy grading, individualized homework, prelab
simulations, and drills for practice to ensure you have
continuous feedback of your progress.

Computers are available adjacent to each
laboratory and in the Chemistry Learning Center (313 & 313A) as
well as in the Physics (333) and Mathematics Study Centers (356
& 376) and in the Learning Assistance Center (711) within the
LRC.

A place to study, do homework, meet as study
groups, or work with a peer tutor or an instructor in the
Chemistry Learning Center, Room 313.

Student Services offers free one-on-one
tutoring by appointment or on a drop-in basis at the
Tutoring Center in the LRC, Room 711J.
