Detailed Flex Lab Policies

ATTENDANCE: To earn credit in each class, you must log the minimum number of hours as given in your syllabus, AND complete all assignments and tests. Software will track your class hours for you. Printouts of your hours will be available in Room 70-131. Some individuals may need more than the minimum required hours to complete all assignments. You may take as many additional hours as you need, and you decide what days and times best meet your needs. All assignments must be completed in the Flex Lab,  while logged in.  All assignments are due by May 24, 2008 and all final exams, timings, and technique evaluations must be completed by 9 p.m. Thursday, May 29, 2008. Your instructor may drop you from the course if you are inactive, which means you fail to attend the Flex Lab within 2 weeks after adding a course or you  have very few hours or sporadic attendance at the drop date.

FLEX LAB ASSIGNMENTS: Reading assignments should be completed at home. All computer assignments must be completed in the Flex Lab.  Assignments must be completed and submitted in the order listed on the syllabus. All Flex Lab assignments must be your own work from your own disk. Students may not “share” assignments from disks or paper. Disks may be collected by an instructor at any time for inspection. You should feel free to ask for help from any instructor or assistant who is working in the lab.

FLEX LAB TESTS:  All tests must remain in the Flex Lab.  You must complete a test in one session in the Flex Lab, and you should not leave the Flex Lab while taking a test without first contacting a staff member. You can not confer with another student FOR ANY REASON while taking a test.  All tests and quizzes are closed book.  To receive a test, you must provide an ID to a staff member.
