Why Attend Grossmont
College?
Attending Grossmont College for the first
two years of your higher education has significant advantages over
attending a four-year institution. The cost at Grossmont College is
much lower than it is at a state university and even more so than at
a private college. Grossmont general education courses, as well as
many courses in specific fields, are transferable to four-year
colleges, to a maximum of 70 units. Statistics have shown that
two-year community college transfer students achieve at least as
high and often higher academic levels in their junior year than
those students who begin at a
four-year institution.
