Ivers
Head CoachGrossmont College women’s volleyball
coach Jamie Ivers comes to the Griffins with over 10 years of
volleyball experience. Ivers earned her Bachelors Degree in
Kinesiology from CSU Fullerton. She is currently finishing a
second Masters Degree in Physical Education with Azusa Pacific
University. She already has an M.A. from National University in
Cross-Cultural Teaching.
Ivers most recently was an assistant coach for both the men’s and
women’s programs at Mesa College. The Olympians women’s team were
undefeated PCC Champs in 2004-05.
Ivers coaching experience also includes a year
as an assistant at Division I Idaho State University during the
2003-04 season. Prior to that she was an assistant for Division II
Adams College in Alamosa, Colorado.
Ivers has also served as an instructor at Adams
and Idaho State in Physical Education.
