Information for Incoming Student-Athletes, 2006

1)  Academic Advising - Please meet with Randy Abshire (Athletic Academic Advisor) 619-644-7423, or Heidi Holmquist (Athletic Eligibility Specialist) 619-644-7822 prior to the start of the semester to set up your classes and a 2-year student education plan.

2)  Physicals - are provided by Grossmont College prior to the start of the semester.  Student-Athletes will not be able to start training until all physical information is turned in to Chris Ray (619) 644-7406 or Donivan Marthis (619) 644-7416 (Grossmont College Athletic Trainers).

3)  All Student-Athletes must be enrolled in at least 12 units to be eligible to compete.
            - at least 9 academic.

4)  All Student-Athletes must be enrolled in the following class to compete on the team.
            - ES 221    Varsity Women's Swim Team    (2 units)
               Mon thru Fri 3-5pm    

5)  -2nd Year Swimmers must have a 2.0 GPA and 24 Units (at least 18 academic units)
     -1st Year Swimmers who played water polo, must have a 2.0 GPA.
