Warner Pacific College signs Griffin Lindsey Shummaker

Congratulations to Lindsey Shummaker who will be playing for the Knights of Warner Pacific College in the Fall of 2005.  Shummaker, a forward from Sultana HS will resume her education and soccer career at the Christian college in Oregon.  She is the first signing from this talented 2004 team.  Warner Pacific Site.
 


Grossmont to play in Victor Valley Tournament

Grossmont College has been accepted to play in the Victor Valley tournament for 2005 and will play in the showcase tournament.  There are also plans in the works for the the Griffins to travel to Santa Barbara this year.  These are a couple of the exciting events coming up for the 2005 Lady Griffin Soccer team.

  • Casey Simone - So. (two time selection)
  • Katrina Cruickshank - So.
  • Coach Hawver voted PCC Coach of the year 2004.
  • Stephanie Clawson earns PC Conference Athlete of the Week honor (Oct. 19)

Clawson, a sophomore Goal Keeper from Wenatchee, WA, recorded 12 saves in route to shutting out first place San Diego Mesa 1-0.  The win verses Mesa moved Grossmont into a tie for first place with the Olympians.
