2006 Meet Results
5/11 Grossmont's Brent Watkins named PCC Athlete of the
Week. Watkins, a sophomore from Sterling High School in Baytown,
Texas who was previously named Orange Empire Conference Swimmer
of the Year, took two second paces in the State Community
College Championships in Riverside.
Watkins placed second to Modesto’s Bryan Haile in the 100
breaststroke finals, swimming a 57.70. He also finished second
in the 200 breaststroke with a time of 2:03.39. Watkins tacked
on a 10th-place in the 200 individual medley.
