At Grossmont College, we believe in the empowerment of the student athlete.  We understand the confusion and misinformation from the above questions not being answered.  Therefore, we have developed a program called G.A.A.P. , the Griffins Academic Assistance Program designed specifically to meet the needs of YOU, our future student-athlete.

The G.A.A.P. provides a challenge for all student-athletes...to balance academics and athletics. G.A.A.P. is designed to meet your needs through a comprehensive support structure providing all Griffin student-athletes with the tools necessary for academic success regardless of your academic background or preparation. Striving to be the best in athletics and academics is no easy task. At Grossmont College, we will prepare you to transfer to some of the finest four-year universities in the country.
