Early Admission Opportunity for first time college students

Grossmont College is proud to announce an Early Admission Opportunity for first time college students who fully matriculate (apply, assess, orient/advise) at Grossmont College. Informational workshops for parents will also be available.

A little clarification on how Early Admission Opportunity program works:
DEADLINE: June 4th for early FALL REGISTRATION

HERE ARE THE STEP BY STEP PROCEDURES THAT ARE ON THE WEBSITE:

Welcome to Grossmont College’s EARLY ADMISSION OPPORTUNITY

WHAT IS EARLY ADMISSION OPPORTUNITY?

EAO offers priority registration to students who fully matriculate (apply, assess, and orient/advise) at Grossmont College.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE ?

First time college students (just graduated from high school) who have applied to Grossmont College.

WHAT DO I HAVE TO DO TO PARTICIPATE? (You must complete each of three phases listed below at Grossmont College)

  • Complete the Grossmont application TODAY
  • Complete the Online Orientation 24 HOURS AFTER APPLYING
  • Make an appointment on WebAdvisor to take the assessment test on FRIDAY
  • Appointments for assessments can be made every Friday at 4pm for the following week
  • Sign up right at 4pm, because the assessment tests usually fill up by 4:10pm
    There are no walk-ins for the assessment test

  • Practice tests: http://www.grossmont.edu/assessment/Practicetests.asp
    Complete the online advising on WebAdvisor ONCE YOU GET YOUR ASSESSMENT SCORES
  • Call and make an appointment with Patrick once registration date is received (emailed)
  • Sign up for classes with Patrick during appointment time (must have an appointment during busy registration period)
