English as a Second Language testing advising must both be completed before
registering for any ESL class.
New ESL students MUST complete the following:
- Fill out an application to Grossmont College.
- Attend a Testing session. You will need to know your Social
Security or ID number.
- Attend an Orientation/Class Selection session AFTER you have completed
a Testing session. You will have an opportunity to discuss your
test results with an English as a Second Language instructor.
- Register for classes after you complete steps 1, 2 & 3.
ESL (ENGLISH AS A SECOND LANGUAGE) All English as
a Second Language students planning to take an ESL class MUST
attend a Testing Session and an Orientation/Class Selection session
PRIOR to registering for classes. All
sessions will be held in Room 115 (Counseling Center).
