Learn more about online classes. AOJ offers
several courses online each semester. We offer AOJ 110
Introduction to Administration of Justice, AOJ 200 Criminal Law, AOJ
202 Criminal Procedure and AOJ 204 Criminal Evidence.
NOTE: YOU DO HAVE TO BUY A BOOK! The homework and chapter
"outlines" do not compensate for the text! You can order them from
the publisher directly or through the bookstores. I recommend you
also buy the Student Workbook to accompany the book. THERE ARE NO
OTHER TESTABLE QUESTIONS other than the material in the text! There
are a series of "electronic homework" assignments that accompany
each chapter. In addition, you will have a couple of "writing
assignments" to do that are outlined in a couple of the chapters.
You can "attach" them as a file or "email" them to me.
There is also a TERM PAPER that you will have to do. You can do
it on virtually any subject that deals with the Criminal Justice
field. Just make sure you have a "cover pager," a standard "term
paper" format, including footnotes and bibliography. You can cite
the web sources too, just use the whole web site. Limit yourself to
no more than three or four web sites, since I want you to have an
equal number of "standard" sources (Texts, reference books,
articles, journals)
IF YOU HAVEN'T DONE THIS BEFORE OR AT ALL, PLEASE "SEARCH" THE
NET FOR INFO ON HOW TO DO THIS OR CONTACT YOUR LOCAL LIBRARY OR
BOOKSTORE FOR HELP. This is part of the requirement for this course,
and still must be accomplished, even though we are on "line."
Each course requires a textbook and is given a letter grade (A - F)
1. TO REGISTER for the On-Line class please make sure you are a
