Reports to the ACCJC
At its meeting of January 2008, the Accrediting Commission of Community and Junior Colleges (ACCJC) reaffirmed
the accreditation of Grossmont College following the comprehensive visit of October 2007. As a condition of the
reaffirmation, the ACCJC requires that the college submit two progress reports, due in October 2008 and 2009, to
show that recommendations made for improving college operations are being addressed. A focused visit will occur
following submission of the 2008 report. The ACCJC also requires that all deficiencies referenced in the
recommendations must be corrected by January 2010, with a Midterm Report to be submitted in October 2010.
The Midterm Report must also include a summary of progress made on college-identified planning items
identified in the 2007 Self-Study.
This web site is dedicated to provision of information relating to the efforts made by the college to
respond to the ACCJC. Links to information about staff participation, procedures employed, records and
reports prepared, as well as related matters are provided here. In short, this site is the information
hub for college responses to the ACCJC from 2008 through 2010.
