Welcome to Grossmont College as we continue our 48-year tradition of academic

fortune to have you as a summer school student. I applaud you for your
decision to spend part of your summertime with us. Life is full of choices,
and you have chosen wisely. I would encourage you to work hard this summer,
and give your very best to acquire the education you need for success in life.
Whether you have enrolled to earn academic credit, update your skills or
prepare for your next career opportunity, our goal will always be to help
you further your educational and career goals with outstanding classes that

I am especially excited about this Summer 2009 session because of the
many outstanding students like yourself. Don’t forget that the selection
of classes available this summer is only a portion of the college’s
extensive breadth of academic offerings, which include more than 150
associate degrees and certificates, as well as transfer programs. We
anticipate you will find the summer classes that fit your needs, and I
am confident that you will have a productive, rewarding and memorable
