Medical Office Administrative Assistant The Medical Office Administrative Assistant Program at Grossmont College provides students with the skills necessary to gain employment in a variety of medical office environments. Students may choose to begin a new career or update existing job skills. Students successfully completing the program will be qualified to seek employment as:

  • medical office receptionists
  • administrative assistants
  • medical clerical workers
  • hospital admitting clerks
  • medical insurance billers
  • insurance claims processors

For medical office procedures and medical insurance billing, there is a prerequisite. You must have completion of or concurrent enrollment in medical terminology.

For medical coding - students must complete medical terminology before
they can enroll.

 Fall 2008 online registration begins at 9 a.m.
Tuesday, July 8, 2008 thru Friday, August 8, 2008

The Medical Office Orientation will be held on Wednesday, August 13, 2008
from 9:00-10:30 am, in Bldg. 53, Room 541.

Before proceeding to registration, read all of the above information. There may be a prerequisite or required documentation i.e. proof of High School diploma, age verification, etc...
