Campus Projects

Description

Campus Projects is currently a one person department consisting of the Manager Campus Projects. 

 Curriculum Impact

Technology plays a large role in the support of services departments.  Although we do not have a direct connection with the curriculum being taught on campus, the support provided allows the college to maintain and enhance the curriculum and educational services offered by the college.

 Approximate Number of Students Served

Campus Projects serves and supports the entire student population.

 Support Impact

The department needs to keep up with technology and has the need for 1.0 FTE Operations/Recycle Assistant position.

 Year 1 (2007-2008)

 Objective

Campus Projects could utilize AutoCAD software to read and convert architectural drawings on new buildings and remodels.

 Action to Meet Objective

The need is to purchase the AutoCAD software and provide appropriate training to utilize the software.

 Year 2 (2008-2009)

 Objective

There may be a need to replace the existing HP Laser Jet 4 Printer.  These are the tanks of laser printers so it may last longer than anticipated.

 Action to Meet Objective

Replace the existing HP Laser Jet 4 Printer if necessary with the latest technology in a cost effective way.

Year 3 (2009-2010)

 Objective

There may be a need to replace the existing HP Laser Jet 4 Printer.

 Action to Meet Objective

Replace the existing HP Laser Jet 4 Printer if necessary with the latest technology in a cost effective way.
