Year 1 (2004-2005)

Objectives

  1. Maintain up-to-date technology that meets District Information Systems Standards
  2. Utilize software that promotes student success and access
  3. Maintain and update Digital Copiers, Documents Imaging System, Microfilm Reader, Facsimile, Scantron, Printers, Validator, and Diploma on Demand
  4. Working with district and campus resources, assist in ensuring successful implementation of a new student record system

 

Actions to Meet Objective

  1. Participate in the Student Services PC replacement plan.
  2. Ensure that necessary software supported and funded by information Systems is included in the Districtís Information Technology Plan.
  3. Identify and obtain area-specific software funded by the college
  4. Continue to identify resource for area specific technology.
  5. Research, evaluate, and purchase hardware upgrades needed for document-imaging.
  6. Continue to enhance the department website.
  7. Continue to support online application (CCCApply) and adapt new additions; such as, international student application and Board of Governor Waiver application.
  8. Participate in Student Records System implementation activities.
