Year 1 (2004-2005)
Objective
- Maintain up-to-date technology that meets District Information and
Building Systems standards.
- Utilize software that assists security, building, and department
efficiencies.
- Utilize building and security control systems that improve operating,
maintenance and safety of building systems and assets.
Action to Meet Objective
- Participate in the Student Services PC replacement plan. Add 4
additional computers to the custodial department meeting area.
- Survey Community Colleges and Universities for software that will assist
department’s efficiency.
- Begin to implement asset control security systems and access control
systems
Year 2 (2005-2006)
Objective
- Maintain up-to-date technology that meets District Information Systems
standards.
- Utilize software that assists security, building, and department s’
efficiency.
- Utilize building and security control systems that improve operating,
maintenance and safety of building systems and assets.
Action to Meet Objective
- Participate in the Student Services PC replacement plan. Replace
outdated maintenance department computers.
- Survey Community Colleges and Universities for software that will assist
departments’ efficiency. Meet to discuss feasibility and cost implications
of software findings with department members, Administration, and IS
department.
- Begin to implement asset control security systems and access control
systems.
Year 3 (2006-2007)
Objective
- Maintain up-to-date technology that meets District Information Systems
standards.
- Utilize software that assists building, safety and department
efficiency.
- Utilize building and security control systems that improve operating,
maintenance and safety of building systems and assets.
Action to Meet Objective
- Participate in the Student Services PC replacement plan. Add two
additional computers to the Grounds Maintenance Department’s office area.
- Survey Community Colleges and Universities for software that will assist
departments’ efficiency.
- Continue to implement asset control security systems and access control
systems
