Description

 

Faculty offices and the classrooms used by the mathematics department will need to be upgraded along with the Math Study Center, otherwise the teaching staff will not be able to utilize the software their students use in the MSC.

Faculty members are not able to communicate with students in an efficient manner. 

Faculty members are unable to use current software to make presentations to the students.

Objective

 

To provide all math faculty with adequate equipment for instructional development, email, IFAS, and grading.

To provide the classrooms used by the math faculty with adequate equipment and software for instructional presentations to the students.

 

 

Action to Meet Objective

 

Purchase 11 computers for faculty offices and classrooms. Purchase a digital document cameras in the math for one of the classrooms. Purchase a color laser printer for a faculty office with four faculty members. Purchase a laser printer for a faculty office with two full time faculty members that do not have a networked laser printer.

 

Year 2 (2003-2004)

 

Objective

Purchase equipment for faculty offices and classrooms that was not purchased in the previous year.
