The At Rise! Playwrights Project performed staged readings of new one-act plays produced as part of

English 160: Playwriting.  Cast members were class members and student volunteer actors.  Student

drama director Christine McBrayer directed Monday Night Politics, by Kevin Wixom; Teed Off by

Kathleen McLaughlin; Will I Ever by Brian McClellan; and Ululation by Karen Stromberg.  Kathleen

McLaughlin directed The Author by Peter Hepburn.     Playwriting instructor and ceremonies

toastmaster Karl Sherlock thanked the audience and bid them a "fare thee well" at the end of the show.
