Training Yourself Using Free Online Products:

The CATL website has a great list of free online tutorials available - just click to the left on the "Online Tutorials" link.

But there are plenty of other good tutorials sites as well, such as www.trainingtools.com.  This site offers courses in HTML, PhotoShop, JavaScript, FrontPage, Flash, Dreamweaver, and more. 

Other free resources at the site include a table of ASCII values, articles, Web development tips, an HTML color chart, and a tips newsletter.

New Window on the World...

Open a new Internet Explorer window when  clicking on a link by using the shift key at the same time you click.  That way, you'll be seeing a new page without losing the old one!

More Free Training Tools!

Three new training units can be downloaded FREE from the @ONE website to supplement Grossmont's faculty web development training. Hands-on activities will help you get started on planning, writing and fine-tuning your instructional websites and improving usability from a student perspective. 

The units are:

- Visual Design for the Screen
- Writing for Instructional Websites
