Technology at Your Fingertips

  • Wouldn't it be great to have a laptop for a conference, or for a weekend? There is a laptop available for check-out in Instructional Media. Call Val Eskridge at 619-644-7375 for details.
  • Here's a little-known fact: Faculty and staff do not need a separate Internet Service Provider (ISP) for home.  District Information Systems will provide faculty and staff with dial-up Internet access from home, for free.  Faculty and staff would then be responsible for any telephone and/or toll charges.  Please see Hsiu-Chih Jennings in Room H, LRC, or call her at 619-644-7742.
  • Digital portraits can be useful: for your web page or to send to colleagues via e-mail. John Dixon will take your picture and e-mail you a digital copy - call him at 619-644-7377 to set up an appointment.

  • Do you have a syllabus or class notes on a CD-ROM, and you'd like to have copies made for your students? Contact Val Eskridge at 619-644-7375 to inquire about getting multiple copies of CDs.
