NATA certified; also certified in equine massage therapy.
Hometown: El Cajon,
CA…4th generation San Diegan.
Athletics background: Competed 4 years high school gymnastics; 2 years
gymnastics at Grossmont College (state champions in 1981
as well as athlete of the year that same year). Played
in various softball and volleyball leagues over the
years.
Favorite thing to do on a
day off: spend time with family outdoors hiking or
horseback riding or anything outdoors.
Reason you chose Athletic
training: I enjoyed sports as well as medicine…it seemed
a perfect fit and it has been.
Biggest myth people have
about Athletic Trainers: That all we do is set up workout programs.
Favorite thing about
training: Empowering individuals to get better and get
back out on the field and to see them attain their
goals.
Most memorable moment on
the field: Watching the 2005 football team win the national
championship.
Hobbies: horses, hiking,
reading.

surprised to know about you: That I’m a horse massage
therapist.
