Plan to attend the Grossmont
College Community Open House on Friday evening, April 13, 2012, and
all-day Saturday, April 14, 2012. As part of its yearlong 50th
anniversary celebration, Grossmont College will host a Community
Open House, a fun-filled, family-oriented festival that will
showcase the college’s outstanding learning environment and a
rededication of the college’s place of prominence in the local
community. On display will be the latest innovations in educational
programs and technology hosted by the various departments and
disciplines, including theatre arts, music, health professions,
culinary, math and English. Kids of all ages will personally
experience interactive, hands-on experiments in the sciences.
Coaches will offer youth sports clinics and inspire young athletes.
A number of entertaining performances are planned. Informative tours
of new buildings will be available. Campus clubs, organizations and
groups will be on hand.
How long has it been since you
visited Grossmont College? A lot has changed since Grossmont College
was born in 1961. Friends, supporters and especially alumni are
encouraged to attend the Community Open House and reconnect with GC.
See for yourself how Grossmont College is “changing lives through
education,” which is the college’s vision statement. So, mark your
calendars and join in the celebration. Food and refreshments will be
available. Visit us again to learn about the latest plans.
